ICLQ Annual Lecture Announced
The 2017 Annual ICLQ Lecture this year will be based on the paper
'The Right to Life and the International Law Framework Regulating the Use of Armed Drones'
published in the ICLQ in October 2016.
The paper was authored jointly by Dapo Akande, Christof Heyns, Lawrence Hill-Cawthorne and Thompson Chengeta.
The event will also provide the opportunity to present the 2016 Young Scholar with their award of £250 worth of Cambridge University Press titles of their choice. This year the prize is awarded to Daniel Costelloe for his article 'Treaty Succession in Annexed Territory' published in Volume 65 Part 2.
The Annual ICLQ lecture is free to attend and will be hosted at BIICL in Russell Square on 16 March 2017 (17:30-19:30). It will be followed by a reception generously sponsored by Cambridge University Press, publishers of the ICLQ.
