Bingham Centre appoints new Senior Research Fellow to lead on Global Rule of Law Exchange
The Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law has today announced that Mathieu Tromme has been appointed to the new role of Senior Research Fellow in Development and the Rule of Law. Tromme will be responsible for managing the newly established Global Rule of Law Exchange, a partnership between the Centre and global law firm, Jones Day.
The Global Rule of Law Exchange will promote development and the rule of law, internationally, through research, a programme of international events and other activities. It will encourage debate, practical outcomes and generate a series of research papers published on its own website.
Sir Jeffrey Jowell KCMG QC, Director of the Bingham Centre, welcomed this new appointment, saying: "Mathieu's experience and dedication to the rule of law will be so helpful to the launch of this new and important venture."
Tromme will take up his new appointment in April 2015.
